In 2024 alone, customers of mobile marketing platform Attentive sent more than 53 billion text messages. Attentive uses personalized messages to bring brands and consumers together for customers like Crate & Barrel, Dyson and Steve Madden. This year, Attentive released its AI Pro for Email feature to all its customers in order to help over 1,000 brands deliver more personalized messaging to inboxes.

Over 80 percent of the country’s largest property management firms use EliseAI’s agents to speed up repetitive admin work like tracking maintenance requests, scheduling apartment tours and renewing leases. CEO Minna Song took a front desk job at a real estate firm to learn about the industry’s pain points before starting the New York-based EliseAI in 2017. At the time, she struggled to convince investors to take a chance on an AI company targeting housing. “Now we go into investor meetings and they're pitching us back to us,” says Song, 35. In 2023, the startup expanded into another crucial industry: healthcare, where its tech helps verify insurance, make appointments and answer billing questions.

Equipment maintenance startup MaintainX grew from a tool cobbled together from Google Docs and Slack to a $2.5 billion venture when cofounders Chris Turlica and Hugo Dozois-Caouette found that existing computerized maintenance management systems were clunky, expensive and inaccessible to technicians on the field. Serving over 11,000 companies worldwide, its customer portfolio includes Hunter Douglas, Cintas, and Duracell, with the company managing over 11 million assets across manufacturing, facilities management, food and beverage and more. In July, it raised $150M in Series D funding, backed by a slew of investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures and Hashicorp CEO Dave McJannet.
