MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.

In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.

The role

This Senior Customer Education Specialist will be responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining educational content for MaintainX’s customer learning channels. This role will focus on authoring and delivering content that enables MaintainX users to develop core competencies through scaled learning offerings such as webinars, virtual classes, and in-person trainings. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Customer Education, and work closely with the Client Success, Product, and Marketing teams to understand the educational needs of our customers and integrate those insights with our organizational vision to develop high-quality skill-based learning experiences. You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape customer learning and training programming for an entirely new Autodesk business unit — Autodesk Operations Solutions (AOS).

What you’ll do

  • Define educational content requirements, in consultation with internal subject matter experts, to support customers’ development of key MRO-related skills and competencies.

  • Conduct continuous research into your learning audience to stay current on their motivations to learn and any skill-related changes in their professional world.

  • Use models such as ADDIE and SAM to develop self-paced and instructor-led learning experiences that help customers achieve success with MaintainX.

  • Deliver (and/or coordinate the delivery of) the instructor-led learning experiences that you design, including live and on-demand webinars, virtual classes, and training sessions at field events.

  • Help define the Customer Education roadmap in collaboration with your broader team.

  • Provide consultation to other Customer Education team members on curriculum and content design.

About You:

  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in an education-related role, such Customer Education, Training & Enablement, Learning & Development, or teaching.

  • A minimum of one (1) years experience developing and delivering instructor-led learning experiences.

  • Proficiency with content development tools for live training material, such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, Canva, and Figma.

  • Familiarity with live training delivery systems, such as Zoom Webinar, Webex, or CloudShare.

  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) for content ideation and review.

  • A strong ability to communicate technical concepts in accessible and concise language.

  • An acute eye for detail when it comes to grammar, aesthetics, and consistency.

Nice to have:

  • Work experience in industrial maintenance and/or manufacturing.

  • Experience using CMMSes and/or Enterprise Asset Management systems.

  • A maintenance and/or reliability-related certification, such as CMRP or CRE.

  • Experience working for companies with rapidly changing products, particularly software-as-a-service (SaaS).

  • Familiarity with project management tools, such as Jira or Notion.

  • Familiarity with course authoring, such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or Parta.

  • Familiarity with video production tools, such as Camtasia, DaVinci Resolve, or Clueso.

  • Familiarity with a Customer Academy LMS, such as WorkRamp or Skilljar.

  • Fluency in Spanish and/or French

About the team

The Customer Education team makes it our mission to ensure that any knowledge customers need in order to achieve their goals with MaintainX is at their fingertips. We apply a humble and empathetic design methodology that keeps the deskless workforce at the center of everything we do. We deliver content through eLearning and instructor-led training channels to educate MaintainX customers in the medium that best suits their needs. Above all, we have an unwavering commitment to quality and accuracy that is reflective of MaintainX’s world-class product.

Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build.

Compensation and benefits. Base pay is one part of the package. Depending on the role, compensation may also include commission, an annual bonus and equity. Benefits differ by country. For roles in the United States, Autodesk’s benefits are described at benefits.autodesk.com. For roles in Canada and other countries, the plan differs on health coverage, retirement and leave, and your recruiter will walk you through it.

Belonging. We take pride in a culture where everyone can thrive. More at autodesk.com/company/global-belonging. More on where this is going: Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost on building the future of connected operations, and AOS SVP Stephen Hooper on welcoming MaintainX to Autodesk.

Company profile

Equipment maintenance startup MaintainX grew from a tool cobbled together from Google Docs and Slack to a $2.5 billion venture when cofounders Chris Turlica and Hugo Dozois-Caouette found that existing computerized maintenance management systems were clunky, expensive and inaccessible to technicians on the field. Serving over 11,000 companies worldwide, its customer portfolio includes Hunter Douglas, Cintas, and Duracell, with the company managing over 11 million assets across manufacturing, facilities management, food and beverage and more. In July, it raised $150M in Series D funding, backed by a slew of investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures and Hashicorp CEO Dave McJannet.
