MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.

In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.

We're currently looking for an Account Executive based in either Montreal, or Toronto in Canada or Raleigh, Denver, or Austin in the United States. This role is unique and different from almost anything else currently available in the market as you will have full ownership and accountability within a defined market at MaintainX. While you will have numerous resources to ensure your success, you will be completely full-cycle: from prospecting, discovery, demo, to signature.

Reporting to one of the Sales Managers for the Emerging team, this is a difference-making, meaningful, high-responsibility role. We expect the right candidate to be someone who thinks outside the box, thrives under pressure, and is laser-focused on meeting targets every single month.

What you’ll do:

  • New Logo Sales – Your primary job responsibility will be to close new accounts and to consistently hit targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.

  • Prospecting – While you will be provided a healthy amount of leads from other sources (such as marketing and the BDR team), our plan requires some pipeline contribution from self outbound prospecting efforts.

  • Lead Conversion – You will be “handed” warm leads on a regular basis and will need to become elite at nurturing those leads from sales cycle to close.

  • Presentation – You will be responsible for presentations, such as discovery calls, high-level product demonstrations, and closing calls.

  • Forecast – You will be expected to accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales with +/- 15% accuracy.

  • Organize – You will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously: new leads, demos, proposals, follow-ups, etc. It’s imperative that you stay organized and nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Systems – We’re a tech company, so we provide you great technology to do your job. You will become a master of using systems like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others.

  • Getting Better Every Day – You will be provided great onboarding and training support, but even after this initial period, you should be open to continued coaching and constructive criticism.

  • Thought Leadership – It’s important to understand and form a passion for our industry. We expect you to learn at every opportunity.

  • Startup Mentality – You will need to embrace the entrepreneurial, grind-it-out mentality of building something new.

About you:

  • B2B sales experience.

  • 2+ years of total sales experience in a closing role.

  • Documented success as a closer.

  • Ability to articulate metrics and data.

  • Willingness to prospect and contribute to your own pipeline. Whatever it takes.

  • Experience conducting your own discovery calls and product demonstrations.

  • Comfortable moving fast, multi-tasking, and keeping the energy high.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication ability.

  • Insanely detail-oriented and organized.

  • Personality traits: positive, passionate, creative, smart, high-character.

  • BA degree or higher.

This role is responsible for managing and supporting a customer portfolio based primarily in English-speaking markets (US/English Canada), requiring daily verbal and written communication in English with those customers.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etc.

  • Experience with startups and entrepreneurial organizations.

  • Experience working in CMMS or facility operations software.

  • Documented success working in a remote setting.

Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build.

Compensation and benefits. Base pay is one part of the package. Depending on the role, compensation may also include commission, an annual bonus and equity. Benefits differ by country. For roles in the United States, Autodesk’s benefits are described at benefits.autodesk.com. For roles in Canada and other countries, the plan differs on health coverage, retirement and leave, and your recruiter will walk you through it.

Belonging. We take pride in a culture where everyone can thrive. More at autodesk.com/company/global-belonging. More on where this is going: Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost on building the future of connected operations, and AOS SVP Stephen Hooper on welcoming MaintainX to Autodesk.

Company profile

Equipment maintenance startup MaintainX grew from a tool cobbled together from Google Docs and Slack to a $2.5 billion venture when cofounders Chris Turlica and Hugo Dozois-Caouette found that existing computerized maintenance management systems were clunky, expensive and inaccessible to technicians on the field. Serving over 11,000 companies worldwide, its customer portfolio includes Hunter Douglas, Cintas, and Duracell, with the company managing over 11 million assets across manufacturing, facilities management, food and beverage and more. In July, it raised $150M in Series D funding, backed by a slew of investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures and Hashicorp CEO Dave McJannet.
