About the Role

Ever is seeking a Facility Launch & EHS Manager to lead the launch of our Sales centers and build the Environmental Health & Safety programs that keep our Sales and Recon facilities safe and compliant. Reporting directly to the Head of Launch, this is a hands-on role spanning facility launch operations - vendors, contractors, inspections, maintenance, licenses, and permits - and ground-up EHS program development under Cal/OSHA and applicable environmental and workplace safety regulations. This is a 3 month contract role with potential conversion to a full-time position. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable working in an operational environment, and able to drive multiple launch workstreams in parallel.

What You'll Do

Facility Launch & Operations

  • Lead facilities launch of Ever's Sales centers.
  • Source, price-check, and manage facility vendors and set-up contractors.
  • Handle site needs pre- and post-launch.
  • Handle site inspections and maintenance requests.
  • Manage all license and permit applications.

EHS Programs & Compliance

  • Build and maintain Cal/OSHA-compliant EHS programs, training, and records for Sales and Recon facilities.
  • Lead vendor sourcing and qualification for hazardous waste hauling, life safety equipment, PPE, industrial hygiene services, and occupational health providers.
  • Organize Safety Data Sheets and chemical inventories.
  • Manage OSHA recordkeeping and workplace injury documentation.
  • Track safety inspections, corrective actions, and compliance deadlines.

Workplace Safety

  • Implement safety measures on-site, including safety signage, PPE requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct routine workplace and facility safety inspections and safety walks.
  • Identify workplace hazards and document corrective actions.

Training & Incident Prevention

  • Coordinate employee safety training and maintain training records.
  • Document workplace incidents and near misses, and support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
  • Partner with employees and managers to promote a proactive safety culture.

Continuous Improvement

  • Design programs to scale to future locations.
    Develop safety metrics and reports, and recommend improvements based on EHS best practices.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA Title 8 and California environmental regulations.
  • Experience managing facility vendors, contractors, permits, or site operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in both an office and operational/service environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Irvine, California, with travel up to 25%.

Physical Qualifications

  • Ability to regularly walk and inspect facility, sales, service, and reconditioning areas, including standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and climb stairs or ladders as needed to conduct facility and safety inspections.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in operational environments where there may be exposure to vehicle traffic, noise, dust, chemicals, varying temperatures, and other typical automotive facility conditions.
  • Ability to travel between company locations and vendor or project sites as required.
