Position Overview As a Child Protection Case Manager, you will travel throughout the United States conducting standardized wellness visits, gathering information, documenting findings, and supporting efforts to ensure child safety and compliance with established protocols. This is a field-based role requiring extensive domestic travel and the ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail in sensitive situations. Key Responsibilities Conduct child wellness checks and sponsor interviews. Verify addresses and residency information. Complete detailed reports and documentation. Identify and report concerns related to abuse, neglect, trafficking, or other safety risks. Follow established protocols and quality standards. Support investigations involving vulnerable children and families. Coordinate with local authorities or emergency services when immediate safety concerns are identified. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Travel extensively across the United States as assigned. Preferred Backgrounds We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Law Enforcement Military Service Social Work Child Protective Services (CPS) Child Welfare Programs Investigative Services Victim Advocacy Community Safety Programs Case Management Relevant experience in related fields will also be considered. Required Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in emotionally sensitive situations. Excellent documentation and report-writing abilities. Strong judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States. Willingness to complete required employment and background screening processes. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required. Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to meet applicable federal program requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children, families, or vulnerable populations. Prior investigative or field-based experience. Background in public safety, military, social services, or case management. Spanish language skills are a plus but are not required. Travel Requirements This position requires significant nationwide travel. Candidates should expect frequent travel assignments throughout the year, potentially traveling up to 40–49 weeks annually depending on operational needs.
