Overview
Democracy Earth Foundation is a San Francisco-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit building open-source, censorship-resistant governance tools for borderless democracy. Its flagship product is the Democracy Earth Protocol, a programmable ballot box for creating and running elections, delegation, and voting workflows; newer public work also includes SAIRI, a tokenized autonomous AI agent. Public sources disagree on the founding date (2012 vs. 2015), so I’ve used the broader project’s earliest commonly cited year while noting the official site also references 2015.
