Company profile

Founded by Tesla’s former chief information officer Jay Vijayan, Tekion sells a management tool for car dealerships that makes it easier for customers to buy a vehicle online. In January, it inked a deal with Asbury Automotive Group, one of the country’s biggest car retailer franchises in the country. Tekion has also shaken up its senior leadership this year, bringing on a new CTO, CRO and CFO. Following a 97% year-over-year revenue growth rate last year, the company closed a new $200 million funding round in July, pushing its valuation above $4 billion.
