Location: Hybrid 3 days in office (New York, NY, Denver, CO or Charlotte, NC area)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented React Native Developer to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our member facing mobile apps.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Exercise leadership over all team products from design to production.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native (Swift nd Kotlin where necessary) and React Query.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
  • Optimize app performance, load times, and responsiveness.
  • Monitor crash reports and usage metrics ensuring stability.
  • Stay current with mobile and React Native best practices, trends, and tools
  • Work with product managers and designers to refine requirements before implementation.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership over product features.
  • Represent product features technically to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for large projects throughout their production lifecycles.
  • Make strong architectural choices through careful evaluation and prior experience.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to continually deliver features to stakeholders and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience with React Native.
  • Proficient in TypeScript (React).
  • Deep understanding of state management tools/patterns (React Query, Context API, Redux, etc.).
  • Experience debugging native mobile issues and handling device specific behavior.
  • Familiarity with mobile CI/CD tools (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Desire to work in a health technology company.
  • Git code management skills with experience working in a mono repository.
  • Experience integrating monitoring solutions for deployed software and resources.
  • A history of delivering complex mobile applications to the app stores.
  • Good written communication skills that enable collaboration in a remote environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously driving proactive collaboration to deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Familiarity with the App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Certificates, provisioning, and app submissions.
  • Familiarity with Push Notifications.
  • Familiarity with Apple Wallet.
  • Native iOS development with Swift and/or Objective-C.
  • Native Android development with Katlin and/or Java.
  • Familiarity with writing config files with YAML
  • Familiarity with Amplitude.
  • Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) experience.
  • AWS + Terraform experience.
  • PostgreSQL experience.
  • Experience with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Maestro, or Moropo)
  • Python experience.
  • Knowledge of integration testing using Playwright or a similar framework.
New York, NY Salary Range$139,600—$200,000 USDDenver, CO Salary Range$128,000—$185,000 USDCharlotte, NC Salary Range$116,400—$175,000 USD
