Vast is developing next-generation space stations and space infrastructure using an incremental, hardware-rich, and low-cost approach. Vast is rapidly developing its multi-module Haven Station to ensure a continuous human presence in space for America and its allies, enabling advanced microgravity research and manufacturing, and unlocking a new space economy for government, corporate, and private customers. Haven Demo’s 2025 success made Vast the only operational commercial space station company to fly and operate its own spacecraft. Next, Haven-1 is expected to become the world’s first commercial space station when it launches in 2027, followed by additional Haven modules. Company profile

VAST Data CEO and founder Renen Hallak made an early, prescient prediction that AI models would face a growing need for data services, so he launched a company in 2016 to provide data management and infrastructure software. Since then, New York City-based VAST Data’s valuation has skyrocketed, nearly tripling from $3.7 billion in 2021 to more than $9 billion in December 2023 after a $118 million series E round. Clients like NASA, Zoom, and Pixar contribute to the $200 million in signed contracts the startup had at the end of 2023.
