About Us

Sieve is a multi-modal lab curating the world’s highest-quality training datasets, spanning video, audio, images, text, and 3D. We combine exabyte-scale data infrastructure and novel multimodal understanding techniques that push the frontier of foundation models. Video alone makes up 80% of internet traffic, and across modalities, data has become the enabling medium powering creativity, communication, gaming, AR/VR, and robotics. Sieve exists to solve the biggest bottleneck in the growth of these applications: high-quality training data.

We partner with top AI labs and did $XXM last quarter alone, as a team of ~40 people. We also raised our Series A from Tier 1 firms such as Matrix Partners, Swift Ventures, Y Combinator, and AI Grant.

Why Now

Sieve is scaling the team quickly to keep up with demand from the world’s leading AI labs. Every hire we make shapes the company. You’ll join early, own the systems that make hiring and in-office life run smoothly, and see your work directly affect who joins Sieve and how they experience it.

About the Role

As our Recruiting Coordinator & Office Manager, you’ll run the operational engine behind hiring and keep our San Francisco office running well. Work closely with our Talent Team and Events & Community to give stellar experiences to our candidates and current team members! You’ll own interview logistics, ATS hygiene, and the candidate experience from first touch to first day. You’ll also make sure the office is a place where the team can do their best work.

You’re highly organized, have strong communication skills, and you care about how people feel when they interact with Sieve, whether that’s a candidate or a teammate. You bring structure to busy, shifting calendars, you catch details before they become problems, and you’re happy to do hands-on work.

What You'll Do

Recruiting Operations & Coordination

  • Own interview scheduling from technical rounds through to onsites, coordinating across interviewer calendars and time zones

  • Deliver a thoughtful, responsive candidate experience. Prepare candidates for each stage, host onsites, and help ensure timely follow-ups.

  • Keep Ashby clean and accurate (stages, feedback, notes) so pipeline data is something the team can trust

  • Support the hiring team with sourcing and pipeline reporting as needed

  • Coordinate pre-boarding, then run onboarding: equipment, accounts, first-day logistics, and a great first week

Office Management

  • Keep the office organized, stocked, and welcoming by ordering supplies and snacks, restocking shared spaces, coordinating deliveries, and handling day-to-day office needs

  • Manage vendor relationships and office services, including facilities, maintenance, cleaning, and building management

  • Work closely with our Events & Community lead to support operational tasks for office events

  • Provide scheduling and logistics support to leadership as needed

Across the business

  • Spot what’s slowing things down and fix it, so processes get simpler and more reliable

  • Step in wherever needed to take on new priorities and close gaps

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years in coordination, operations, or a similar people-facing operations role, ideally at a fast-growing startup

  • Strong execution skills: organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

  • Clear, written and verbal communication with candidates, teammates, and vendors

  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and the ability to keep many threads moving at once

  • Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information

  • A collaborative, low-ego attitude and a willingness to do hands-on work

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with an ATS (Ashby a plus) and comfort with calendar-heavy scheduling

Benefits

  • 401k + Full Health Insurance

  • Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner covered and your choice of snacks

  • Ubers covered home

**All roles at Sieve require you to be onsite in San Francisco 5 days per week.
