Location: Hybrid 3 days in office (New York, NY, Denver, CO or Charlotte, NC area)

About the team

The Platform team at Judi Health is made up of passionate, motivated, and driven individuals who are experts in technology and dedicated problem solvers. We operate with a strong sense of ownership and urgency, delivering high-quality solutions that ensure seamless operations and foster collaboration across the engineering organization. The team owns the architecture, standards, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines that development teams rely on to deliver code to the Judi® platform. We are also responsible for supporting production environments through monitoring, alerting, and operational best practices, while providing both enterprise-wide solutions and guidance to product teams.

Position Summary:

Judi Health is building the technology infrastructure our nation needs to deliver the healthcare we deserve. The Site Reliability Engineering team is responsible for driving the adoption of world class reliability practices across the organization, ensuring the best possible experience for the lives we provide care for.

As a Platform Developer, SRE, you will be working with our internal teams to fine tune customer driven monitoring, alerting, and iterative feedback loops to increase reliability across the entire engineering organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal development teams to distill customer facing metrics
  • Assist internal development teams with crafting monitoring and alerting based on customer driven metrics
  • Write terraform modules that assist in the onboarding of internal teams to our monitoring and alerting platform
  • Help drive the adoption of world class site reliability principles and practices across the organization
  • Adopt Agile/Scrum methodologies, actively participating in planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting 24/7 production on-call rotations, including responding to alerts and resolving incidents outside of standard business hours
  • Experience in automating Observability & Monitoring (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus), standardizing incident response for alerts to maintain SLAs and SLOs
  • Proficiency in Terraform, or similar IaC tooling
  • Practical experience within a cloud provider and its component services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)
  • Some experience in python, or bash scripting
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT security & compliance, product managers, and scrum masters.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — you will help produce guidance that the broader engineering organization depends on

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer facing support roles, quality assurance
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration
  • Background in healthcare, pharmacy, financial services, or other regulated domains where data pipelines carry audit and correctness obligations
