About Public

Public is the world’s first agentic brokerage, combining a comprehensive multi-asset investing experience with all the advantages of AI Agents.

Members can invest in stocks, options, bonds, crypto, and event contracts, and manage a variety of accounts including their personal brokerage, margin, retirement accounts, and business accounts—all in the same place.

Since 2019, Public has raised $400 million. Investors include Accel, Tiger Global, Will Smith's Dreamers VC, The Chainsmokers' Mantis VC, as well as renowned figures in business and culture, like Maria Sharapova, Tony Hawk, and NYU Stern professor Scott Galloway.

What you'll do:

This role goes beyond traditional partnerships and integrations. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, commercial leader to build relationships that bring new customers and assets to Public.

Many companies already reach the investors we want to serve. You’ll proactively seek them out, uncover the opportunity, and structure creative, efficient deals that introduce Public to their audiences. You’ll own each relationship from initial thesis and origination through deal structuring, negotiation, and commercial execution, working directly with leadership to turn new ideas into measurable business outcomes.

This is a role for a dealmaker, not a strategist. You’ll report directly to Co-CEO, Leif Abraham.

Specifically, you will:

 • Explore and pursue new business opportunities outside our existing integrated partnerships roadmap, with a focus on bringing new customers and assets to Public
 • Develop deal structures across consumer channels, from affiliate and referral programs to co-marketing and strategic consumer partnerships
 • Design deal structures that give Public access to new audiences at low or no cost
 • Manage your partnerships after launch, finding ways to expand what’s working
 • Be accountable for the customers and assets your deals bring in

What we're looking for:

 • Years in business development, partnerships, and (potentially) corporate development at a consumer fintech, brokerage, or high-growth DTC company
 • Track record of originating and closing deals that drove customer acquisition, asset growth, and new revenue
 • A natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly, energizes the people around them, and is always in the mix
 • Strong commercial judgment and comfort with deal economics, pricing, and unit economics (CAC, LTV)
 • Proven ability to turn early-stage ideas into executable, signed agreements and active partnerships
 • Excellent negotiation skills and executive presence

Bonus Points:

 • Experience launching a new business line or commercial model from scratch
 • Experience building or scaling an affiliate or referral program
 • Existing senior relationships across consumer brands, fintech, financial institutions, or AI companies
 • Familiarity with financial services marketing rules (FINRA advertising, promotions, referral compensation)
 • Ability to use AI tools to scale your productivity and impact

Benefits:

 • Competitive salary and equity
 • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans
 • Generous PTO and parental leave policy
 • 401(k) plan with company match
 • Opportunities for career growth and professional development

The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $300,000. At Public, we hire for potential and company fit, not just experience, so we’re open to a range of backgrounds, and compensation will reflect that.

Public is an equal employment opportunity employer to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type. Company profile

Brokerage app offering commission-free investing in stocks, ETFs and crypto, as well as fractional trading of NFTs and other collectibles and the ability for users to share their portfolios and trades–if they want to. Last year, Public.com stopped taking payment for order flow, a controversial practice that free-trading rivals like Robinhood still rely on, and debuted an optional tipping feature. In April it launched another new revenue source–a “Pulse” service that allows companies wanting to promote their stocks to pay for data about retail investors and to hold town halls. Early customers include buzzy cannabis stock Tilray and Dubai ride-hailer Swvl.
Funding: $310 million from Accel, Greycroft, Tiger Global Management and others.

Latest valuation: $1.2 billion.

Bona fides: User base has exploded to three million from less than one million at the end of 2020.

Cofounders: Co-CEOs Jannick Malling, 34, and Leif Abraham, 36—serial entrepreneurs hailing from Denmark and Germany, respectively.
