About the Role

As an Account Manager for Commodities in the MEIA (Middle East & Africa) region, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth and expanding Kpler's presence across key regional markets. Operating as a strategic partner to our client portfolio, you will identify high-value expansion opportunities, negotiate profitable renewals, and elevate customer relationship management. By connecting client market needs directly with internal strategy, you will help shape product direction and empower regional market leaders with real-time trade intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Portfolio Expansion: Direct and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts across the MEA region, systematically uncovering and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities to exceed growth targets.

  • Deliver Strategic Commercial Guidance: Partner with clients to align Kpler intelligence with their multi-year planning, demand forecasting, and operational workflows.

  • Lead Contract Negotiations: Commercialize and negotiate renewals and expansion agreements, ensuring profitable terms and complete compliance with company policies.

  • Capture Market & Competitor Insights: Gather direct feedback from client interactions to inform product development, business unit initiatives, and competitive positioning.

  • Maintain Pipeline & CRM Accuracy: Manage sales activity and account health within Salesforce, providing predictable pipeline forecasts in close collaboration with Sales Operations.

  • Foster Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure seamless client delivery and contribute to broader corporate initiatives.

Experience & Background

  • Experience in Account Management or Sales within a data provider company, with exposure to SaaS or DaaS models (ideally background in financial data or commodities data platforms).

  • Professional fluency in both English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills tailored for regional client relationship management and negotiations.

  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales expansion targets through structured account planning and proactive opportunity generation.

  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with experience managing contract cycles and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (Customer Success, Sales Operations, Marketing).

  • Strong self-motivation, high accountability, and the resilience to excel within a fast-paced, dynamic growth environment.

  • We are a dynamic company dedicated to nurturing connections and innovating solutions to tackle market challenges head-on. If you thrive on customer satisfaction and turning ideas into reality, then you’ve found your ideal destination. Are you ready to embark on this exciting journey with us?
